The Cinémathèque de Corse's ambition is to pay homage to the 7th Art, to research, enrich, conserve, restore and turn the spotlight on all the images shot in Corsica, on Corsica or by Corsicans, for you, who make up a large regional and international audience. This multi-dimensional facility offers a range of services: a 130-seat cinema, museum areas on two levels, a documentation centre, a video consultation room and archive storage facilities, all adapted to meet current requirements in terms of new technologies. With some 18,000 cinema posters, over 30,000 film reels, and a collection of 6,000 books and film archives, this "living" museum is a meeting place for the history and future of cinema. Cinema classics, Corsican works, cycles by author or genre, conferences, meetings with professionals: Casa di Lume is a place for discovery, exchange and training.
