A jewel hidden between the Aiguilles de Bavella and idyllic beaches.

Nestled in the heart of the magnificent landscapes of the Aiguilles de Bavedda, with its 10 kilometres of coastline, including 5 kilometres of magnificent beaches, the unspoilt commune of Lecci offers an enchanting place to stay.

Located in southern Corsica, just half an hour from the Figari airport, Lecci enjoys an exceptional geographical location. In the various hamlets of the commune, you'll find a variety of local shops, offering a fine balance between tranquillity and festivities.

what to see : EXPLORE THE CONTRASTING BEAUTY OF ITS BEACHES

Saint-Cyprien, between beach and pond, is a small gulf with a magnificent beach bordered by the Etang d'Arasu. A Genoese tower dominates the site, and numerous remains have been discovered near the mouth of the Osu. With its white sand, turquoise water and red rocks, the beach offers a dazzling array of colours. It is recommended for children due to its gradual water depth and is bustling with water sports providers such as water-skiing, sailing and jet-skiing.

The bay of Cala Rossa is yet another jewel in the crown of the commune of Lecci, making it a top-class tourist destination. With its shades of green and blue and the backdrop of the Aiguilles de Bavedda, it offers a zen atmosphere accessible to all. Here, you can enjoy wood-grilled prawns while being lulled by the ebb and flow of the waves.

Anchored in the Gulf of Portivechju, the bay of U Benedettu is a haven of peace blessed by the gods. Nestling at the end of the peninsula of the same name and protected by a Roman oppidum, the small beach of U Benedettu offers a peaceful setting where silence reigns supreme. In the distance, you can admire the city of salt on the horizon.

A tasty trip to Corsica

Lecci, "the holm oak", a commune bordering Portivechju, has experienced a similar fate to its neighbour, and has also been forced to abandon the exploitation of its dense cork oak forests.

However, its lands possess another precious resource: the vineyards.

Facing the rising sun, these vineyards give life to original grape varieties such as niellucciu, sciaccarellu and vermentinu, as well as traditional varieties such as grenache, which produce exceptional wines. These wines, whether red, rosé or white, are today certified by the appellation Corsica Porto-Vecchio PDO guaranteeing their authenticity and quality.

Where to stay?

Whether you're looking for a comfortable hotel, a convenient residence, a campsite in the countryside or a welcoming bed and breakfast, Lecci has everything you need for a pleasant stay.
