More than 60 sites have been excavated in the Alta Rocca, and more than 200 sites have been surveyed, the remains of which form a reference collection. Here you can discover original items such as the skeleton of the oldest Lady of Corsica, the remains of extinct animals such as the Prolagus, atypical crockery from Curacchiaghju (Levie), tools made from local or imported rocks, bronze ornaments including the Corsican fibula, evidence of human know-how.
These silent witnesses complete the visit to two sites open to visitors: Cucuruzzu and Capula, offering a journey back in time to the Mesolithic period.
