Departure point: From the car park of the gîtes in the hamlet of Cartalavonu (1022 m altitude), 4 km from the village of l'Ospedale.
Head west along the path (signposted Vacca Morta). This path gradually rises to a crossroads with several directions.
Turn left towards Foce Alta. At the pass, turn right onto the path, dotted with numerous cairns, which climbs steeply to the Punta di Vacca Morta.
