The trail begins with a descent paved with dry stone towards the Vangonu (the valley) district, which was once the heart of a vital resource for the inhabitants of this mountain village: chestnuts. Walking through the chestnut grove, you'll come across a small traditional building known as the "siccatoghju", a chestnut drying shed.
Continuing on, you'll reach an authentic water mill called "u fragnu", fed by an aqueduct and situated on the banks of the stream. After leaving the mill, you'll take a magnificent path winding between dry-stone walls bordering the old vegetable gardens.
The last part of the walk will take you to the Cadisusinu district, where you'll find some beautiful light-coloured granite buildings, with their sober, massive architecture. Finally, the fountain-lavatory will be the last stop on this discovery of a village emblematic of the mountain culture of southern Corsica, on this trail of heritage and farming practices.
