Sentier de Rundinara

The bay of Rundinara, known for its shell-like shape, was once made up of two islets. The sea level was higher then. As the currents accumulated sand and pebbles, they eventually shaped the sensual curves of the bay.

You'll follow a shady path along the edge of a lagoon: the Etang de Prisarella. Throughout your walk, you'll be able to observe the priority habitat of this area, protected by the Conservatoire du Littoral. In particular, you'll discover the Phoenician juniper dunes, shrubs that produce fake brown toxic berries. Finally, there are superb views over the Gulf of Sant'Amanza, Sardinia and the Toro Islands.
